Return-it?
At Return-It, recycling is in our DNA. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Re.Group, we are leaders in managing and facilitating operations that focus on recycling for the Container Deposit Schemes (CDS) in Australia. Convenient locations plus new technology enables a seamless recycling experience both at fully staffed depots and Express collection points.
Return-It transforms how households, organisations, and communities recycle and are repaid for their aluminium, glass, and plastic cans. There are over 100 Return-It locations across Australia. With recycling depots located in all major locations and smaller towns.
Return-It changes the way customers recycle and get rewarded for their effort. We operate Return & Earn Automated Depots making it quick and easy to recycle in NSW.
There are 2 Return-It authorised refund points as part of Return & Earn NSW refund scheme. With our recycling depots located in Matraville and Queanbeyan. Return-It has convenient locations you can return your bottles and cans for a 10-cent refund. To find a recycling depot or return point near you click here.
Depot
At our depots you can recycle your eligible drink containers between 150mL and 3L and receive a 10-cent refund. Depots are perfect if you want cash back on the spot or if you have a large volume of cans, glass or plastic bottles to return. If you have any questions our friendly staff are on hand to help you sort and count your containers.
Return-It Depots
Some of our busy depots have automated counting machines. This means that the machines will count your bottles for you. Automated sorting and counting machines are at Bunbury, Malaga, Geraldton, Shenton Park and Butler/Clarkson.
Return-It Recycling Drive Thru
Our Return-It Cash Back Drive Thru Depot means than you can drive in and cash out. We have Drive Thru Depots at Balcatta, Busselton, Cockburn, Shenton Park and Welshpool.

The majority of 150ml to 3L liquid paperboard, aluminium, glass, plastic, steel, and drink containers can be recycled. Remember to remove the lids before recycling them because we can’t recycle them together.
